Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • Paul was my older brother. Although he married and moved to Winnipeg while I was a wee child I do recall being his flower girl at his wedding with Sharon, We were able to reunite when I had married and had the opportunity to visit and spend time with him in Winnipeg. It never mattered what direction our lives went in or how many degrees of separation there was, I remained, his little sister and knew I could always count on him to be there for me. Paul and I spent many hours on the phone when Covid hit and we became close as adults and I loved our conversations as we always shared a good laugh, I loved the unexpected nature of his humour. I am sorry he is gone but feel blessed I knew him. Thank you to Dave & Gord (friends and buddys) for sharing your words. L Thank you for your wonderful memory of my big brother. Hugs from the Lil Sis. - Posted by: Susan Shields (Little Sister) on: Jul 11, 2023

  • To my lifelong friend Polyester Paul The Prince of the Prairies... Polyester Paul, was more than just a friend to you - he was a cherished companion and a true character. His boisterous laughter and witty jokes could light up any room, and his unwavering loyalty and kindness were an inspiration to all who knew him. Paul was a rare gem - a man who lived life to the fullest, with a heart full of love and a smile that could melt even the coldest of hearts. He was always there for you, through the good times and the bad, offering a listening ear and a comforting shoulder to lean on. Paul's love for life was infectious, and his boundless energy and enthusiasm for everything he did were truly remarkable. Whether he was on the dance floor or behind the grill at a summer barbeque, he always brought joy and laughter to those around him. He may have left this world, but he will always be remembered as a bright, shining light that brought so much happiness to so many people. Find comfort in the knowledge that Paul is now resting in paradise, surrounded by love and peace. He will be missed, but his legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
