ELIZABETH (BETTY) CHARLOTTE SAUNDERS
January 15, 1939 - May 27, 2022
Peacefully, on Friday, May 27, 2022, at Calvary Place in Winnipeg, Betty passed away at 83 years of age.
Please join us for prayers at Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk on Wednesday June 1, at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, June 2 at St. Stanislaus Roman Catholic Church, East Selkirk at 11:00 a.m.
The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff of 3 North at Calvary Place Personal Care Home for their loving and compassionate care of "Mama Betty".
In lieu of flowers, those who wish may donate to St. Boniface Hospital, Winnipeg where Betty worked, had her children, and received excellent treatment from the staff of CancerCare.

Betty was a great friend to my father (Kim Turner) and his wife Barb, and was someone I knew even back as a child growing up in Manitoba. Since then our paths have crossed less frequently, but have heard over the years countless stories of the good times shared with Roger and Betty, travels together, laughs and close calls. My Dad often expressed his fondness for Roger and Betty and most certainly considered them both to be the closest of friends and top notch people. Betty will be missed and may her memory be eternal.
