KNIGHT: It is with sincere sadness that we announce the passing of Darlene Knight, who passed away at the Peter Lougheed Centre in Calgary on May 27, 2022 at the age of 79 years old. Darlene was a recent great-grandmother, as well as an amazing grandmother, mother, and friend to many. Darlene is survived by husband Bill Knight (2012) and spent the past 5 years with partner Earl Smith enjoying years in both Brandon, Calgary and Phoenix, Arizona. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends, but asked that all celebrate her life, friendship, and all the great memories you had together. She is now at peace and wished love to all!

  • Darlene and Margaret took me under their wing 60 years ago when I moved into the city along with their parents, such wonderful people, Margaret was my bridesmaid. (Margaret if you read this please contact me , 780-434-3231). They are forever in my hearts, Darlene was such a lovely person, she lived close to my daughter in Calgary once.   • I knew Darlene when she was a young girl when I was first married and we rented the third floor we suite of her parents house on 13th Street in Brandon.
