Norm has been a long time, good friend of ours for over 60 years. We all met at Investors Group in 1960, and luckily were able to enjoy 60 years of fun and great times with Norm and Doreen at IG dances; at IG Fishing Derbies at Jessica Lake and Big Whiteshell; camping at Blue Lake; weekends at Norm and Doreen’s cabin, (where Norm taught us to play Bocce Ball and many hands of cribbage were enjoyed). Later, we were able to spend weekends, and enjoy rounds of golf with Norm at his pride and joy – Granite Hills. It had been Norm’s Dream to make sure that Granite Hills got completed and become one of Manitoba's top golf courses. Although he ran into many, many obstacles, he persevered, until his Dream finally came true. Many people thought it would not, or could not happen, but Norm made sure it happened!!! Cliff and I are sadly missing Norm, and his warm, welcoming greetings, his hearty laughter which one could hear from miles away, and his wonderful sense of humour. God Bless You Norm. You’ve lead a long, varied and successful life, and we hope you are hitting them long and straight in heaven - especially on the 3rd “Pebble Beach” hole of Granite Hills …. Rest in Peace … With Love, Cliff and Joyce - Posted by: Cliff and Joyce Wasylik (Long Time Friends) on: Jun 10, 2022
