  • The grief that I have for your passing is equal only to the gratitude for everything you are and everything you've done. Most of the memories I have of you make me laugh or smile...taking us all to 7/11 in your limo. Lined up with the cousins eating "steak" that was actually liver. My first time camping out at your cabin. As a kid, I always knew that I could come to your house. As an adult, it was always the first place I stopped when I came to town to visit. The space you have left behind is gigantic, I love you so much and am so very grateful to have been given these years with you. Say hi to the fam for all of us <3 - Posted by: Aja (Niece) on: Jun 23, 2022

  • Rick's impact on my life is memorable. He was a man of contradictions but his tough exterior was a mask for his caring heart. Having spent time with the Batson family, I know how sad this loss is and I send my condolences to the family. I will always remember Rick fondly. - Posted by: Bev Wiebe (Friend) on: Jun 06, 2022

  • Ricky I'm going to miss you so much, it is so surreal. I know that you are in a much happier place with Rickardo. You're finally at peace, no more hurting, no more pain, no more grieving the loss of your son. You are with him now. Knowing that gives me some serenity. As of this moment I am sad, devastated, hurt and feeling guilty for not being there for you in the last while. I love you so much, I'll miss you always. Come visit.. I'll have the drinks. xoxo - Posted by: Devon (Daughter) on: Jun 06, 2022

  • Dear bro you will never realize the impact and love that was honoured to me as I was given the special honour to walk the journey of life with you, I say thank you for many life lessons some very costly but life gave me the best, through our journey of life and your oldest son's passing life changed us both a loss so deep, we were both so shook but the road said continue straight ahead, your spirit was broken, later your prayers were answered God had a plan in the names of Renee, Rayden, Riley the papers were in everything signed, you sold them the dream, you would love them and teach them how a dad could love unconditionally through life's hardest challenges and come through, yes bro we were all so blessed as your back with the family most likely still selling dreams me and the standing army will honour you in every way as we continue our journey, again thank you bro for choosing me to walk your journey, the tears are not of sadness but gladness no more pain and suffering, take care till we meet again. - Posted by: Rochelle (Sister) on: Jun 04, 2022
