GLENN CARE
1975 – 2022

On June 2, 2022, after a long and deliberate battle, at the age of 47, Glenn's journey through cancer has ended. With his wife and family beside him, and his army behind him, he laced up his boots for the last time. We are forever grateful for the support offered to Glenn over the past three years.
Flowers respectfully declined. Please donate to the CancerCare Manitoba Foundation Colorectal Cancer Research.

Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • Wishing strength and peace to the Care family. Glenn brought so much happiness and warmth to the lives of so many. We are thankful to have had such a kind, funny, awesome hockey coach for Cole and for so many hockey players and their families. He transcended coaching to become a friend. Thinking of you all. • Sincerest condolences from the McMurchys. The hockey community in Winnipeg will miss Glenn. The players he coached and the friends he made over the years are better for knowing him. - Posted by: Reid McMurchy (Friends) on: Jun 06, 2022

  • Glenn and I beacame great friends in our high school years spending lots of time biking around the city. Once we could drive the pedal bikes turned to dirt bikes and then atv’s. We would help each other out working in our trucks to keep them running well or make them “cooler” looking. He found the love of his life sooner than I found mine and started his family. Unfortunately as many have this story our life paths changed and we lost touch over the years. I will remember him as a best friend, as he was to many others, that was there to help when it was needed or just to hang out and have a beer. Thanks for some great memories my old friend. The best quote you ever said while playing in the dirt that I still get a laugh at: “ If you want bread you gotta put the toast in”. You will be missed brother. - Posted by: Dean Dziedzic (High school friends) on: Jun 04, 2022
