Mary and I spoke on the phone just recently and after her telling me of all the health challenges she has endured and also telling me of her son Ricky’s Passing and her daughter Barbra’s Heart Attach (I couldn’t believe it), but, she told me she had to continue on. She didn’t go on and on about her ailments she asked me how I was doing and what was going on in my life, she was always so caring of others. I told Mary I was going to give her another call and come down and have a good visit [Which hasn’t happened in a long time], because she told me she couldn’t talk any longer on the phone as she was getting short of breath, so, we left it there. I met Mel, Mary, Rick and Barb when we lived on Mountain Avenue in Winnipeg they were our neighbors across Mountain. Mel secured me a job at Motorways Trucking (Where he was a long haul trucker) and Mary visited and had coffee with my mom Pat and they became friends. Mary was a very nice, generous and kind individual and I’m sorry to see her go. My, sincere condolences to her daughter: Barbra and the rest of Mary’s family.
