DONALD JOHN MATISCHUK
Donald J. Matischuk (Don) passed away peacefully at Seven Oaks Hospital on June 6, 2022.
Having lived a full life around Kenora and Winnipeg areas, he was always active. Fishing and enjoying nature on Lake of the Woods. He was passionate about photography and had an eye for nature.
He loved his family even when they persisted to push him away.
Having worked in many careers, he was always dedicated, even though his hearing disability persisted to haunt him. Working for years for TransCanada Pipelines, PCL and in his later years Safeway, always giving it his best, being a kind and simple man. He may not have heard what you said to him, but always greeted you back with a smile.
Having fought Cancer for many years, he is now at peace.
Trying to stay active into his late years. Always finding a friend in complete strangers, during morning coffee at Mcdonald's.
Survived by his ex-wife Dorothy Matischuk; children, Michael and Christina Matischuk and brother Robert (Bob) Matischuk.
