CLAUDE LEON LAVALLEE
January 18, 1942 - May 28, 2022

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Claude Leon Lavallee.
He passed, as he wished, at home beside his wife Anne, just shy of their 60th wedding anniversary. He was cared for in his final days by his immediate family who provided Palliative Care, with much love and support.
Claude had humble beginnings that began in Letellier, Manitoba. He moved to Winnipeg just before marrying his beloved Anne, and after many moves, they built their 'forever home' in Anola, Manitoba 45 years ago. It was there that his kids grew up, got married and had children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren to add to the family. He was always encouraging, loving and supportive of his children's choices in life, and was there to pick them up when they stumbled. He was proud of each and every one of them, and added his two cents and passed on his pearls of wisdom as needed. Claude was truly a "Jack of All Trades" and would jump in at the drop of a hat to help anyone.
He leaves to mourn his beloved wife Anne; children, Gil (Frances), Cheryl (Chuck), Brenda and Darlene (Dwayne); grandchildren, Sarah, Wendy, Dayna, Travis, Devrin, Sheila, Amanda, Tyler, Gillian and Keira and great-grandchildren, Ayden, Carter, Hartley, Mataya and Levi. He also leaves to mourn many nieces, nephews and his furry companion Murphy, as well as many life-long friends he considered family. Special thanks to his brother-in-law Jack and his niece Debbie for coming in and supporting Mom throughout this hard time. Also to Dr. P.G. Mehta and Dr. D. Christiansen for all their help.
Cremation has taken place and no service will be held, as per his request. A Celebration of Life will be held on July 16, 2022 between 1:00 and 4:00 p.m. at Dugald Community Club, 544 Holland Street, Dugald, MB.
In lieu of flowers, please contact your Member of Parliament to address the sad state of our healthcare system.
