It is with tremendous sadness that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Jim Hein on Thursday, May 26, 2022, at the age of 70.
Jim is survived by his wife Catherine; son Shane (Reginald) Lanoway; daughter Jamie (Ryan) Szuuts; grandchildren Logan and Emily Szuuts; his nephew David (Camille) Sobczak; niece Angie (Cory) Baseraba; and nephew Sterling (Shana) Sobczak as well as all their children.

As an owner of Ace Auto Electric, Jim was an integral part of the Ace Auto family for over 45 years and showed unparalleled commitment to the "shop", his employees, and all customers.
Jim was a dedicated grandfather to Logan and Emily and would enthusiastically share their successes and support them in everything they did.
An avid reader, Jim loved books and was a frequent patron of the Winnipeg Public Library.
It's hard to imagine life without him.

I was very fortunate to have had Jim as my neighbour. He was an ideal neighbour, always friendly, pleasant, accommodating and ready to help if a situation called for it. It is with great sadness that Jim has left us and I will miss seeing him dearly. Heartfelt condolences to Catherine and his family. - Posted by: Rene (Friend) on: Jun 12, 2022
