A wonderful and caring neighbor when Christine and I were in Fisher Branch. WE had our own John Deere Days when we would mow our yards and the neighbor's yard when they were away. After the mowing we would park in the shade and refuel with a few cold ones. Eddy had a great sense of humor and loved to tell stories. He helped out with the fall block party which eventually became the entire town block party on Labour Day weekend. There was never a dull moment. Eddy always helped to improve me with some mechanical knowledge. Rest in peace good neighbor and hope John Deere Days are still ongoing with you now. - Posted by: Jack Kowalchuk (Friend) on: Jun 21, 2022

Our condolences to Connie and her family in the loss of the father she loved and cared for so dearly. It is a sad time but I'm sure made less so by the joy Augustine must feel welcoming her beloved husband. Eddie (and Augustine) were fantastic people who welcomed people into their hearts and homes without judgement and with much kindness. Eddie was a good friend while I was in Fisher Branch and when I did go back there to visit I always made sure to stop by to say hello and the hospitality mat was always out even though my visits were always unannounced. I enjoyed his quiet, respectful demeanor and his enjoyment of humor. He enjoyed both hearing a good tale and telling one, each bringing a great smile or laugh to him and those around him. Eddie and Augustine helped make Fisher Branch a fantastic and beautiful memory for me. May his memory be eternal. Vichnaya Pamyat - Posted by: Val & Rod Noseworthy (Friend) on: Jun 11, 2022
