Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPROKOPCHUK: Nellie Prokopchuk of Brandon, Manitoba passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at Rideau Park Personal Care Home at the age of 96. A Funeral Service will take place at St. Michael's Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Sandy Lake on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. with Fr. Mel Slashinsky officiating. Interment is to follow at the Sandy Lake Municipal Cemetery. Donations in memory of Nellie may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 1379 Kenaston Blvd, Winnipeg, MB R3P 2T5 or to a charity of one's choice. Complete obituary information will follow.

Just wanted to send regrets to Nellie's family. My name is Brian, I am the son of Pearl Boychuk, a long time and cherished friend of Nellie. Nellie was one of the nicest people I can remember as a child. I do remember my mom and dad, John, being close friends with both Nellie and Mike. Can't say enough about Nellie's personality, her friendly charm, thoughtfullness. I can just see Nellie and mom at the table at our cabin in Sandy Lake. My sister, Geraldine, and brother Eugene and I take a trip to Sandy Lake to pay respects to our mom and dad, both buried there every August.
