JOANNE MARIE BROWN
Sadly, after an almost two year battle with cancer, Joanne Marie Brown passed away on December 19, 2021, at the Health Sciences Centre, at the age of 47 years.
Joanne will be greatly missed by her mother, Lucille; brother, Sean; sister-in-law, Takae and niece, Yukine. She was predeceased by her father, Sandy in 2000.
Our family welcomes you to join us as we celebrate Joanne's life on Monday, July 4 at 2:00 p.m. at Canad Inns, Transcona, 826 Regent Avenue West.
In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations in memory of Joanne may be made to Cystic Fibrosis Canada or to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
The family asks that all those in attendance please wear a mask.

Joanne and I started working at Camp together the same year, and we were kindred spirits since day 1. She was always someone who was always willing to help whether it be a listening ear or making you laugh. I always cherish our special sense of humour. My sincere condolences for the loss of Joanne. I loved working with her at Children’s! Her sense of humour was so wonderful! The kids loved her. Couldn’t have gotten through some of those night shifts without her. Joanne is watching over all of us.
