EDWARD MOSIEWICH
Edward Peter Mosiewich born in Winnipeg on June 17, 1952 to the late Sam and Frances Mosiewich has passed away peacefully on June 14, 2022.
In 1953, Ed and his parents moved into La Salle purchasing their farm one quarter mile west of La Salle. In 1955, they had their second son Jim. This is where Ed was raised and remained living throughout his years helping his family with their vegetable farm before becoming a licensed Red Seal Mechanic where he worked for over 30 years and retired in 2019.
Ed leaves to mourn his niece Lisa Mosiewich (JP), their children, Carter and Kai, his nephew Michael Mosiewich (Tanya), their daughter Miya, as well as several extended family members.
A joy in Ed's life aside from his niece and nephew and sharing jokes were snowmobiling, motocross and photography. He will be greatly missed by many within these communities.
Ed was predeceased by his brother Jim (May 23, 1991), father Sam (April 22, 2003) and his mother Frances (December 7, 2020).
Special thanks from Ed's family members are extended to the Brummitt-Feasby ALS house in Winnipeg, and a sincere thank you to the Richot family (Chuck, Lynn and Amanda) and Mark Waddell for helping Ed out during his struggles with ALS.
A Celebration of Life will take place on June 25, 2022 (2:00 p.m.) at Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home and Cemetery - 1291 McGillivray Blvd., Winnipeg, MB R3T 5Y4.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the ALS Society in Ed's name would be gratefully accepted.

Very saddened to hear about Eddie. Grew up next door to him in Lasalle. He knew more about Polaris snowmobiles than the manufacturer. Rip Ed. - Posted by: Thomas Harpley (Friend) on: Jun 20, 2022

Ed was our best man when we got married and Chuck and Ed remained friends all these years, growing up together there was never a dull moment, 2 jokesters, 2 crazy guys, Ed always had a witty response no matter what we threw at him, many fun times were spent on dirt bikes, snowmobiles and hanging out at the Montcalm. Ed certainly loved you guys Lisa and Mike with all his heart, he was so proud of you both always.
