  • My condolences to auntie Cecile’s family and friends. I remember when my son was just a toddler we would bump into auntie Cecile and uncle Alphonse and Florence and they would invite us for coffee with them at st.vital centre. We really enjoyed that. RIP auntie Cecile. - Posted by: Valerie (Great niece ( she is my moms auntie)) on: Jun 24, 2022

  • To all of the Brunel family, we offer our sincerest condolences in your loss of this beautiful woman....your mom, grandma & great-grandma. She lived a long life, with a wonderful family. • I have such fond memories of your mom, dad & the entire family (our big city cousins) when you came to visit Memère & Pepère in Ste. Rose. There was always laughter, love, great food and "un p'tit coup" to be had. There have been deep losses to grieve, and to think that Cécile lived beyond 100 years is a testament to her strong faith and the love of her surrounding family. Sincere condolences to all those who mourn her passing. Mary Keitel - Posted by: Mary Keitel (Hopfner) (Niece) on: Jun 19, 2022

  • My sincere condolences on the loss of your mom, Mrs. Brunel, I had my first job ever at their restaurant one summer when they were paving St. Mary's Road all the way to St. Adolphe! She was lovely and kind and made the best burgers!! I spent a lot of time at Brunel's playing pinball and hanging out with friends! Hugs to you all!! - Posted by: Deborah Giguere (friend) on: Jun 18, 2022

  • Our deepest sympathies to your families I remember your mother very well. My father did a lot of carpentry work in their restaurant and home I would often help him and got to know your mother and father very well. My parents would buy most of their groceries at their little store. My parents became good friends with your parents our thoughts and prayers are with you during these difficult times may God comfort and bless you. • I remember with great fondness your wonderful Mom Cecile. We were next door neighbours for many years and always enjoyed visiting with her and Alphonse. They would give us things from their huge garden and were always there for us. We had many little chats with them. They were such a lovely couple! And we so enjoyed meeting their children and grandchildren, and at that time I believe Gilles and Guy were still at home. - Posted by: Eva M Haddad (Neighbour and friend) on: Jun 18, 2022
