This Sunday is unbelievably, shockingly our first Father's Day without our Dad and Grandfather. He died unexpectedly in March before we could spend this day with him and show him how much we love and honour him.
Jim had many academic and professional achievements but nothing was more important to him than his children and grandchildren. He was the parent who attended every football and baseball game, saved those Father's day arts and crafts for 30 years and wrote post cards to his grandson's kindergarten class because the teacher asked. Nothing gave him greater joy than being a grandfather and he would have been over the moon to meet the little lady arriving in October 2022.
Jim is missed by his daughter, Christine (Bruce), grandson Connor, his son, James (Helen) and grandchildren Liam, Keira, Danica and Isaac, his son, Bryan (Joelle) and grandson Nash as well as the his one and only grand-dog, Kaia, who captured a special piece of his heart.

"Say not in grief that he is no more but live in thankfulness that he was"
