JEAN JONES
(nee MUIR)

On June 18, 2022, at Golden Links Lodge, Jean Jones died peacefully at the age of 92 years.
Jean grew up in Margaret, MB until she moved to Winnipeg in her late teens. She met and married the love of her life Gordon and was happily married until 2001 when he passed away.
Jean lived for her family and is survived by her three children, David (Deb) of Wingham, ON, Carolyn (Les) of Winnipeg, and Kevin (Carla) of Winnipeg; four grandchildren who she loved and cherished, Ryan (Kristen), Jennifer (Grant), Brendan (Devin) and Kaitlyn, as well as three great-grandchildren, Olivia, Wyatt and Violet. She was predeceased by her mother, father, brother and two sisters.
She was a long-time member of the P.E.O. Sisterhood where she was the President of the Manitoba Provincial Chapter in 1976. The family would like to thank the staff on 1 West at Golden Links for the great care she received.
A private burial at Chapel Lawn will take place. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 25 at 2:00 p.m. at The United Church of Meadowood at 1111 Dakota Street in Winnipeg.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Manitoba PEO Foundation (through the Winnipeg Foundation) or any charity of your choice.
