WILLIAM JAMES WEISS
November 16, 1988 - June 17, 2022
It is with immense sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of a beautiful soul, William Weiss at the age of 33. Will was a beloved husband, father, son, grandson, brother, uncle, cousin and friend to many who share in this incomprehensible loss.
Will was predeceased by his parents, Tim and Brenda; grandparents, Jim Weiss, and Annie and George Harper. Will is survived and forever loved and deeply missed by his partner Morgan, son Timothy, daughter Mariah, stepdaughter Taesha, his grandmother 'mom' Diane; his sisters, Jessie, Emily; brother Patrick; Aunties, Lisa, Stacey, Rose and Delores; Uncles, Neil, Bob and Ricky; and numerous cousins. A special 'thank you' to cousin Michael who went above and beyond the day of and these difficult days since Will's passing.
Will was born and raised in Winnipeg. He attended various schools and was a graduate of Neeginan Institute of Applied Technology where he became certified as a Building Operation Technician. Will really enjoyed his employment and the friendships he made at Quantum Utilities. Those who knew Will, knew him as strong, courageous, fiercely protective, and kind hearted soul. He had a soft spot for the underdog and would always stand up for others. Will had a beautiful smile that could light up a room; and he had a great sense of humor which he shared liberally. Will was so grateful for his many friends and family, and we thank you all so much for your kindness and condolences during this extremely difficult time.
A Celebration of Life to honour Will will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Aboriginal Funeral Chapel, 724 Selkirk Avenue in Winnipeg, MB. Although not required, the family is requesting that everyone attending would wear a mask.
For those who are able or wish to, donations can be made In Memory of Will Weiss to www.assiniboinepark.ca/ conservation-research-sustainability/ polar-bear-care.

I went to middle school with Will at Lincoln Middle School. I remember him being as fun as he was mischievous. We definitely got in our share of trouble but always had a lot of laughs and good times. My condolences to his family and friends. - Posted by: Meagan Peterson nee Sheldrick (Friend) on: Jun 27, 2022

I was so saddened to read of Will's passing. I used to babysit him way back in the day. I taught him to ride a 2-wheeler one summer and I remember how much he loved to watch Peter Pan. Rest in peace Will. - Posted by: Natalie (Former neighbor and babysitter) on: Jun 23, 2022
