PADDOCK: Alvina Paddock of Oak River, MB; passed away at home on Sunday, June 19, 2022 at 85 years of age. Beloved wife of the late John Paddock; mother of John (Lori), Rhonda (Bob), Gordon (Jill), Russell (Stephanie), Cheryl (Perry), Nancy (Brent), and the late Dianna Paddock; grandma of twenty-two; and great-grandma of twenty-seven. A graveside service will be held at the Oak River Cemetery, Oak River, MB on Friday, July 22, 2022 at 1:00pm. For those so desiring, donations may be made in Alvina's memory to the Oak River United Church Memorial Fund, Oak River, MB, R0K 1T0 or to the CancerCare Manitoba Foundation, 675 McDermot Ave Rm ON1160, Winnipeg, MB, R3E 9Z9 (www.cancercarefdn.mb.ca). I was saddened today when I saw the notice of your Mom's passing. I have known her my entire life, as she was my babysitter, oh so many years ago. We would visit from time to time on the phone, and it was always a pleasure to hear her voice when she called me. She loved her family so very much, and will be missed by everyone one of you for a very long time.
