Gwen passed away peacefully at the Westlock Hospital on June 18, 2022.
Gwen was born in Winnipeg, MB and grew up in St. Vital. She was predeceased by her husband Merwvn Zirk, son Thomas Zirk, father and Mother Tom and Verna Nicholl. She leaves behind daughter Cathy (Joel) Powlesland, son Rob (Susan) Zirk, brother Ernie Nicholl and sisters, Elaine and Patti Nicholl.
There will be a private family service to follow.

Dear Cathy, Rob and families, We were so sorry to hear of your mom's passing and are thinking of you at this sad time. Family was so important to Gwen and her grandchildren were absolutely the jewels in her crown! We fondly remember the years when all you kids (and ours) were growing up in Anola/Hazelridge and the good times we shared together. We hope cherished memories will grow stronger and ever-sweeter as you remember your mom and dad and all they meant to you - and will always mean in the days and years to come.
