JOAO PACHECO
January 1, 1935 – June 21, 2022
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and vavo, Joao Moniz Pacheco on June 21, 2022, at the age of 87.
Surrounded by his family, we held his hand until the Lord grabbed a hold of the other, to lead him into the next journey to plant his forever garden.
Predeceased by his parents, Laurindo and Elvira, Joao will be missed forever by his loving wife of 50 years, Helena, sons, John, Larry (Debbie), Marty and Chris (Rory); his daughters, Vanessa (Travis), Nicole (Francis), and his grandchildren, Kyle (Chantalle), Kendra, Zackary, Abigail, Daniella and Sofia.
Joao was a hard worker, selfless and funny. Respected by all that knew him, his gentle spirit and wonderful legacy will live on forever.
Prayers will be said on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. at the Immaculate Conception Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at the Immaculate Conception, 181 Austin St. North, Winnipeg, Manitoba. Interment to follow at Glen Eden Cemetery, 4477 Main Street, West St. Paul, Manitoba.
God saw that he was getting tired so He put His arms around him and whispered; "Come with me". Rest in Peace Jake, we love you.
