EILEEN RUTH STRUSS

Surrounded by her family, Eileen entered into the Joy of her Lord on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving behind a body filled with disorder and pain.
She is survived by her loving husband Winston, of 58 years, son Darren (Joanne), daughter Cheryl, nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Lynn Fosty and sister-in-law Shirley Patzer. She was predeceased by her father Frederick Patzer, mother Adele Patzer, sister Leona Hiebert, brother Raymond Patzer and brothers-in-law, John Hiebert and Stephen Fosty.
Eileen lived her life as a testimony to God's Grace. She was very active in Calvary Temple for many years teaching Grade 3 Sunday School and working the Billy Graham TV Crusade counselling lines.
Eileen dealt with years of diminishing use of her physical abilities and much pain, yet never complained. She found her strength, hope and comfort in her solid trust in God. We know from the Scriptures, that whereas today she is absent from the body, she is present with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, which is far better. 2 Cor. 5:8
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 5 at 2:00 p.m. (viewing begins at 1:00 p.m.). Faith Bible Church, 600 Minto St., Winnipeg, MB. Wojcik's Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements.
