The Enns family arrived in Winkler from Russia in the mid-20s. Frank's mother, Helen, was a sister to my mother, Anna Enns Epp. Frank was my brother Henry's age (1925) and I did not get to know either of them well; however traveling with the Faith and Life Male Choir during the 80s and 90s, with my husband Victor, I learned to know Frank as a cousin and there would be stories to tell. Frank was one of my first "Covid-19 calls" in 2020. Would not have expected it, but he took suggestions from the pastor seriously. Frank, may you rest in Peace. Condolences to Wanda and her family. - Posted by: Linda Enns Epp Sawatzky (First cousin) on: Jul 01, 2022

My sincere condolences to the Neufeld Family. My thoughts and prayers go out to you Wanda, 75 years together, wow; also my thoughts are with you Adina, Eileen Judy and Carla. We have shared many good times together. As for me, I will say: "I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills. From whence doth my help come? My help comes from the Lord who made Heaven and Earth." Blessings and much love. John - Posted by: John Neufeld (brother) on: Jun 30, 2022

My sincere condolences to the family of Frank Neufeld. The obitiuary appeared in the Free Press at a time when I was looking for information about the two Russian Mennonite families who fled Russia and lived with my grandparents on their farm near Rosenfeld, Manitoba. It was such a fond memory for my grandparents, Reverend John D and Maria Loeppky. I know Gerhard and Mulwina Neufeld were the names of one of the families. They had a daughter Wanda. This is such a timely coincidence. - Posted by: Barbara Toews (nee Loeppky) (Historical connection) on: Jun 29, 2022

My deepest condolences to the family. Frank was the "inspector" who came to my classroom in 1983 to see for himself (and the Province of Manitoba) if this Ontario-educated first-year teacher was up to local standards and worthy of being granted a Manitoba teaching certificate. I am grateful for the outcome. - Posted by: Ted Fransen (Former colleague) on: Jun 29, 2022

I was so sorry to hear about your Dad’s sudden passing. How active he was and how many memories about him come to my mind, especially with his great involvement with the choir. My deepest sympathy goes out to your Mom and all of you sisters and families. Love to you all❤️ From Edith and Mary - Posted by: Edith Peters. (Wilms) (Friend of family) on: Jun 29, 2022
