EVA MAY HAWRYSHKO
(MAGNUSSON)

Eva Hawryshko passed away June 18, 2022 at the age of 91.
She leaves to mourn her husband William (Bill) Hawryshko of almost 30 years; step-daughter Diane (Laurie) Youzwa and family and step-son Don (Karen) Hawryshko and his family.
Eva and Bill were married on August 15, 1993. They had many happy years together, especially after they both retired.
Eva had a wonderful career at MTS and retired as a manager at MTS after 38 years of service.
Eva spent countless hours volunteering and our dad was especially proud of her when she received the Citizen of Year award in Selkirk. Eva and Bill enjoyed decorating their home at the corner of Sophia Street and Strathnaver Avenue in Selkirk. They loved to share their enjoyment of Halloween and Christmas decorating, especially the lights. Eva loved to have halloween and Christmas music going for people walking by to enjoy. Eva and Bill loved dancing at the legion, going to old time dances; they also loved to celebrate New Year's Eve, visit family and friends and Eva enjoyed going to the yearly Lobsterfest in Selkirk sponsored by the Rotary Club as she loved sea food. They also loved to go to fall suppers across Manitoba. They enjoyed going to the Morris Stampede and The Corn and Apple festival in Morden. They enjoyed making the yard look extra special during the summer with flowers and their garden.
Eva and Bill enjoyed travelling to Saskatchewan to visit Eva's family. Eva was so excited to tell us of their trip to Alaska, where they had a trip of a lifetime. They also travelled to New Orleans, Louisiana.
Eva adored her three grandchildren and would do anything to help them.
He loved Eva with all his heart and thought of her everyday. He was fortunate to speak with her for a few minutes on June 18, 2020, as he called her everyday.
No more suffering. Rest In Peace my love.
Eva will be greatly missed by her family and all that new her.
Cremation has taken place and a private Celebration of Life was held on June 22, 2022 at Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk, Manitoba.
