Condolences & Memories (11 entries)

  • Larry was a great guy! Good conversations, kind cat lover, sportsman, loving husband and family man, cook and connoisseur of good food to mention just a few things. Alain and I both enjoyed his and Andrea's company. Blessings to all those who have to adjust to not having his physical presence, but still always in their hearts . - Posted by: Lorene Benoit (friend) on: Sep 20, 2022

  • Thanks Larry for your kindness and friendship and stepping in as co-pilot when my Dad couldn't do lunches anymore. You're forever in my heart. - Posted by: Jackie (Friend) on: Jul 12, 2022

  • Larry was a man of few words but much heart. I had the honour of knowing him both as a friend and a colleague. He was a kind and caring man who was very respectful with all people. He was exceptional with the people with whom he worked and was committed to advocating for their rights. He had a great love for his family, his cats and for his partner, Andrea. He supported me through hard times with his gentle caring and wonderful cooking. I will miss him. - Posted by: Liz Adkins (Friend) on: Jul 07, 2022

  • I was saddened to just recently be made aware of Larry's passing. We got to know each other through fastball, mostly playing against each other but that didn't deter Larry from being a friend to all. It didn't matter what team you were on he was all class both on and off the diamond. Always enjoyed our conversations. Condolences to family and friends. Cherish the wonderful memories and may they provide you all with strength and support during this time of loss. - Posted by: Ferdi Nelissen (Friend and Competitor) on: Jul 04, 2022

  • Larry was one of the kindest people I’ve ever met. When Andrea first introduced us, I was struck by how quiet he was, but even that first day there was a twinkle in his eye. As I got to know him better I saw that he loved a good laugh, a good baseball game and a good woman – and that was Andrea, anyone with eyes could see he loved her with all his heart. He was a gentle giant and made life better for those he worked with and for his family and friends. I am saddened that the children and young people in his life won’t get to have him in their lives as they grow; I know how much joy he brought to their lives. My deepest condolences go out to those who are grieving him, his family and friends and the many others whose lives he touched. - Posted by: Laurie Gillies (friend) on: Jul 02, 2022
