MARGARET WIENS
July 25, 1927 - June 28, 2022
Margaret was born in Winnipeg and raised in the small village of Osborne. She was predeceased by her parents; her five brothers and two nephews. She is survived by 12 nieces and nephews and one sister-in-law.
After completing high school, Margaret went on to Normal School and became a teacher. During 30 years of teaching, she obtained two education degrees from the University of Manitoba.
Margaret loved all, always looking at the positive, never the negative. She nursed her father and three brothers as they fought serious health issues. Her relationship with God was paramount in her life.
She "walked the walk." She smiled as she left earth and moved into the arms of Jesus.
We thank the staff of Vista Park Lodge and the volunteers of Elmwood Church.
Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at Elmwood Mennonite Brethren Church, 145 Henderson Highway, with viewing prior to the service. Interment to follow in LaSalle Mennonite Cemetery.
