It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jean Olga Bernshine, age 82, who was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
She leaves to mourn her only son and best friend, Dwayne Bernshine. Jean left us to join her beloved husband, Donald Bernshine, who predeceased her in 1996. Jean was also predeceased by her father Peter Dnes in 1996, and her mother Sophie Dnes in 2002. Jean was a non practicing Roman Catholic.
There will be a traditional funeral service to celebrate Jean's life at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. on Monday, July 4 at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Brookside Cemetery, 3001 Notre Dame Avenue.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Jean's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba.
