RONALD WILLIAM COATES
May 17, 1966 - July 3, 2022
Ron passed away in Chilliwack, BC, after being ill for several months.
Raised in St. Vital, Winnipeg, by parents Haddie and Nancy Coates, alongside sisters, Lin (Kerry) and Carol (Ken). His nieces and nephew will also always have fond memories of him.
As a young man, Ron made his way west, where he settled, and also found his birth family, a few of whom his Manitoba family were also able to meet.
Ron excelled with a passion for racing, his own race car, and of course his great love for his cats. His beloved feline friends.
Rest In Peace little brother.

I was in Ron's classes pretty much from grade 2 up to grade 7. We were friends in school and outside as well. He disappeared for awhile until I was 16 and we bumped into each other in front of Norberry school. We caught up and spent a few hours that day just walking around a reminiscing. I've always wondered what had happened to Ron. His adoptive parents were very sweet and he was lucky to have them. I'm sad to hear just now that he had passed. Auntie Nancy, Lin, Carol and families. Such sad news of Ron’s passing. I remember when Ron first came into the Coates family and the nice photo of him we were given.
