SHIRLEY WILSON
It is with great sadness we announce that on June 30, 2022, Shirley peacefully passed away, with family by her side.
Shirley is survived by son Shawn (Sian), daughter Allana (Hugh), grandson Andrew (Hannah) and granddaughter Kelsey (Ben), as well as many nieces and nephews. Shirley was predeceased by her loving husband Allan.
Shirley was immensely proud of her family to which she dedicated her life to, and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories. She had a very caring nature that gave her a special connection with children, animals and those in need of a friend. Her kindness was matched with a quiet inner strength, which she instilled in her children and grandchildren.
"My life on earth has truly past
I've loved you all to the very last
Weep not for me, but courage take
and love one another for my sake"
In keeping with Shirley's wishes, cremation has taken place and no service will be held.
The family would appreciate anyone wishing to make a remembrance in Shirley's name to benefit Diabetes Canada.

Dear Allana, Hugh, Andrew, and Kelsey, My heartfelt condolences on the passing of your mom and grandma. I always looked forward to seeing both your mom and dad at the boys’ hockey games. Your mom had that big smile and was always willing to chat. She was a special lady and I will always think of her fondly. May your treasured memories help to ease your sorry. - Posted by: Wendy Morris (Friend of Allana) on: Jul 16, 2022
