BEVERLY DE LEEUW

Completely and forever loved by Marcel, Reagan (Adam), Dane (Fiona and Georgia May), Marco (Lilla and Geza) and big brother Bob Weston. She is now getting a big hug from her Mom and Dad, Fran and Bob, and her lake buddy Maddie De Leeuw.
She was always close to her brothers and sisters-in-law: Harry and Jane, Bert and Marilyn, Danny, and David and Cathy and especially her nieces and nephews whom she enjoyed immensely. She totally loved her girlfriends - you know who are! She cared deeply for her home care girls who became good friends.
Beverly was a class act and always excelled at her careers which included Lancombe, Shiseido, BMD, Intrawest and concluded with being a very successful Investment Advisor for years at Nesbitt Burns (both here and in BC). Her clients became her friends.
We are forever grateful for the care she was given by Doctors Marrie, Aoki and Raubenheimer for all these years, you helped us through, and the special group at St. Boniface ICU.

"To my Beauty Girl and best friend.

When we met I was amazed that someone so beautiful could be that caring, that down to earth, and even more so, that you picked me. You gave us a life that was so beyond anything I could have ever hoped for. Thank you for the joy with our beauty kids, our special place at the lake, BC, Palm Desert, Europe and everywhere else. The courage and grace you showed through 15 years of challenges and the way you kept that beautiful smile the whole time (and what a smile!) will be with me always. My heart is so heavy. My sadness so great. "I love you" will never be enough!"

- Marcello

"The children went to their Mother. They picked her up and rocked her back and forth, back and forth. And they sang this song:

We'll love you forever
We'll like you for always
As long as we're living
Our Mommy / Bevie you'll be!"
- Reagan, Dane and Marco

A tribute to our Beauty Girl will be held at the Gates, 6945 Roblin Blvd. from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 20.
In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, please consider a donation in Beverly's honour to the MS Society.

  • Marcel and family: Your tributes to Bev were so beautiful, and really express the sadness you are feeling, mixed with gratitude for a wonderful life shared. Our hearts and tears are with you. Dave and Vera - Posted by: David Christianson (Friend) on: Jul 20, 2022

  • Dear Marcel and family, Your written tribute to your wife and your children's mother was expressed so heartfelt and heavenly. Bev was a beauty both inside and out and we shared the same aerobic classes back in the 80's. I always visited her at both the Shiseido and Lancome counters in our beautiful department stores of downtown Winnipeg years ago. Unfortunately, they no longer exist. Those were days. She loved to dance as we all did back in the day and she had the moves. She found it interesting that I was half Flemish and that many of my relatives were buried in the old Belgium cemetery in St. Boniface. We had many fun conversations back in the day. I hope you all take comfort in knowing that Beverley has met the face of God and will continue to be with each of you every day in a very special way and looks forward to the day when you as well will join with her in her glory. I will keep you all in my prayers. Take care. - Posted by: Darlene Hoffman (a friend of many years ago) on: Jul 16, 2022
