Wilma leaves behind her daughter Geraldine Nazvesky (Albert), son Tedd Gunn (Janet); granddaughters, Catherine Roy (Denis), Malinda Nazvesky; grandson Nicholas Nazvesky (Shannon); and great-grandchildren, Nathan and Grace Roy, Ellie and Marlee Nazvesky; and grand fur babies Leo and Yuuki.
Wilma also leaves behind sisters-in-law, Irene and Vera Thomas; and many nieces and nephews. Wilma was predeceased by her husband Jim of 59 years, her mother and father; brothers, Earl, Lorne, Ted; sisters, Ann, Mable and Monda.
At a young age, Wilma moved to the small town of Nakina, Ontario where she found work at the train station and met the love of her life. Wilma was very involved in many different churches throughout the years. Her family was very important to her and she travelled long and far to visit with them.
Wilma loved gardening, knitting, making her beach babies, Christmas ornaments as well as scrapbooking with ladies. She enjoyed the great outdoors where she and Jim and their family spent many wonderful hours fishing, picking blueberries and sitting by campfires at Beetleman Bay.
Wilma moved back to Thunder Bay to be closer to her daughter and grandchildren. They all enjoyed many occasions together.
Mom loved and enjoyed all the company she received. She would help and support anyone at any time.
We would like to thank the Nurses at the TBHSC and the Nurses at St. Joseph's Hospital, Palliative Care Unit, 4 North for their extraordinary care in keeping Grandma comfortable.
