November 3, 1944 – July 15, 2022
Unexpectedly, yet peacefully, on July 15, 2022, Georges L'Heureux, Husband, Dad, Grandpa, Pepere, passed away at HSC with family by his side at the age of 77.
Georges was predeceased by his parents, David and Zepherine (Arpin) L'Heureux; sister Alice and brothers, Lucien and Fernand; nephew Jacques; brothers-in-law, Raymond Lapointe, Robert Tetrault, Henri Ledet and Roger Ledet; as well as sister-in-law Beatrice L'Heureux.
Georges will be lovingly remembered by his wife Yvonne (Ledet) of 55 years, as well as his children, Lynne (Gilles), Doris (Alec), Paul, Denis (Lise), Denise (Clarence) and eight grand-children. He also leaves his brother Aurele; sisters, Helene (Maurice) and Lucienne (Ernest); sisters-in-law, Denise (Campbell), Marie and Bernice and many nieces and nephews.
He was extremely proud of his entire family and there is nothing he wouldn't do for them. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, July 29, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd., Winnipeg, Manitoba.
The family would like to thank the paramedics and staff at HSC emergency department for their quick action, kindness and care.
Donations may be made in Georges' name to a charity of choice.
