VIRGINIA CANOSA
Peacefully with her daughter by her side on Saturday, July 23, 2022, Virginia passed away, at the age of 89. Mom was born May 17, 1933 in Bucchianico, Chieti.
Virginia is survived by her daughter Gabriella; grandchildren, Adam and Nikki (Sean); great-grandchildren, Decker and Easton; along with her eldest sister Lucia DeLeonardis Cocco in Italy who always watched over her growing up as a child and numerous nieces and nephews. Mom was predeceased and now reunited with her husband Giuseppe; parents, Alberina and Carmine; and brothers, Corrado, Nicola and Luigi.
The family would like to thank the staff at Actionmarguerite St. Joseph Nursing home for their loving care, compassion and kindness given to mom.
Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2022, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 510 River Ave. Condolences will occur at 10:00 a.m, service will follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Waverley Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
