FRANCESCA RUSSO
It is with profound sadness that the family announces the passing of Francesca Russo, beloved wife of the late Andrea, on July 24, 2022, at the age of 99 years.
She was predeceased by her parents, Michelangelo and Corradina; one brother, Vincenzo (Filippa); and one sister, Iolanda (Lorenzo).
Francesca is lovingly remembered by her children, Vincenzo (Marcella), Caterina (Rosario) and Angelo (Maria); nine grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Francesca was born in Catania, Sicily. She married the love of her life Andrea Russo on September 25, 1943.
Viewing will be from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., on Thursday, August 4, at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Funeral Service will commence at 1:00 p.m. Entombment to follow in Queen of Heaven Mausoleum, Assumption Cemetery, 3990 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg.
