  • Our Heartfelt condolences to Phil, Greg, Nancy and families. We are so sorry for your loss. Heather was simply a lovely person; a dignified, kind and gentle lady with a cheeky sense of humour. She adored and was so proud her family, and of course, her Phil. As long time neighbours, we always enjoyed our chats with Heather. She especially loved to talk about the grandchildren and what they were up to. When she became ill, she always appreciated a drop-in visit and still enjoyed her glass of white wine at happy hour! We will certainly miss Heather but will never forget our lovely neighbour …who made the BEST peanut butter cookies! God Bless you and may you Rest In Peace. 🙏 - Posted by: Kathy & Gerry Gibbings (Long time neighbours) on: Aug 02, 2022

  • I never met Mrs. Vermeulen but had the pleasure of having Mr. Vermeulen as my grade 6 teacher to an all boys class at Regent Park Elementary in the 1960's He was a wonderful teacher and an inspiration. She must have been a wonderful woman to have caught his eye and spent so much time with him. - Posted by: Charlie Brow (student) on: Jul 31, 2022

  • Our deepest and heartfelt condolences to all family and those who were lucky to have Heather in your lives. What a beautiful person Auntie Heather was with such a gentle soul. There are so many fond memories of her that Kevin always talked about from his younger years and so many more from her always making time to visit with us whenever we arrived in Winnipeg. He would torment Auntie Heather so much and she always laughed, (she had a great laugh), would give him a smack, and then a big hug. Thank you for your love Heather. Forever in our hearts.
