  • I was absolutely heart broken to read of Daniel's passing in todays Free Press. I started driving the school bus in 2010 at Christ the King, so I only had the pleasure of observing Daniel for 2 years before he graduated, but more than enough time to know what a great kid he was. Daniel's brother & sister also went through Christ the King, so over the ensuing years I got to know The Stokes Family on a personal basis, and what a wonderful Family they are. It's when a young life such as Daniel's is taken, that our Faith is truly tested. I have to admit, I always struggle in these circumstances! My condolences to Rich and Angie, and to Adam and Lauren. Sincerely, bus driver Bob - Posted by: Bob Stroh (School acquaintance) on: Jul 30, 2022

  • So sorry for your loss. I remember when Daniel and I were super close when we were in elementary school. He will be missed. - Posted by: Denyse Swiderek (Old elementary friend ) on: Jul 30, 2022

  • We are so sorry for your loss in the passing of your son and brother, Daniel. He was so young and just beginning his life. We first met Daniel and his family at preschool when my daughter and Daniel were in the same preschool classes, with Mme Debbie. They were thick as thieves. My husband worked with Richard. Daniel was always a quiet and shy, little guy. Heart of gold. He was my little girl's biggest champion. As they grew older, they stayed in touch through social media. He will be missed by all those lives he touched. Our hearts go out to all of you.
