MARY AGATHE FEHR
August 29, 1953 July 8, 2022
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Mary Agathe Fehr on July 8, 2022 at the age of 68.
Mary was a loving mother, sister, auntie, and friend. She will be deeply missed by her daughter Kaitlin, sisters Anne (John), Helen (Harold), sister-in-law Leona, dear friend Kathy, God children Anthony and Latoya, and nieces, nephews, and great friends.
Mary was kind and fun loving, and enjoyed being with friends and family. She loved a variety of music. From bagpipes that her daughter played to Prince and the Bee Gees, you could see her moving to the beat. She made great soups, and really enjoyed the classic Mennonite dishes. Her yard and garden were her sanctuaries. She loved her flowers, especially her beautiful collection of hydrangeas. Her free spirit took her on many travels and adventures, especially with her dear friend Kathy.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Mary's garden between 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 7, 2022. Come share memories and love of Mary. Private interment at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens, 455 Lagimodiere Boulevard, Winnipeg will be held at a later date.

I got to know Mary as a fellow gardener on the block. We’d admire and swap compliments on each other’s gardens and swap plants and seeds whenever something caught out eye! Mary was a wonderful, creative, light-hearted person. The beautiful gardens she created at her home were a joy and pride she shared with everyone in the neighborhood. It was such a treat to go by her place to see what new gems she had found and planted! She was always happy to share stories, ideas, cuttings, and seeds from her various plants. She was a definite inspiration when it came to all things in the garden. And it was always a blast to see what the latest hair color was that she dressed up her little four legged friend in. Creative and fun in all ways! I will really miss her big smile and green thumb in the neighborhood! She was a gem in the neighborhood and will be missed dearly!! Rest In Peace Mary. The beautiful light you left with everyone you met will be remembered forever. My sincere condolences to the entire family. - Posted by: Lesua (Neighbour) on: Jan 18, 2023
