MAY DAWLEY (GULLETT)
Born: Mar 27, 1933
Date of Passing: Jul 28, 2022Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or Memory
March 27, 1933 - July 28, 2022
A celebration of May's life will take place at Chapel Lawn, 4000 Portage Avenue on Saturday, August 6 at 10:00 a.m., outside weather permitting, at her late beloved husband Garth's and her grave site, or inside if raining.
We would like to express our gratitude to the Healthcare Heroes, the Winnipeg Fire and Paramedic Services and the Grace ER. Mom felt very well taken care of and respected by the emergency responders and during her stay in the ER. Your kindness, respect and professionalism were so comforting to her.
May lived her her entire life with honesty, integrity and generosity, with tireless hard work and an abundance of patience. Her personal and physical strength were well beyond her slight frame. She was every ounce a dedicated matriarch of the family. Tough in spirit and determination, quiet in listening, patience and respect in her actions and advice, she was truly a beautiful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sibling, aunty, neighbour and friend.
May greeted the world with a smile that warmed your heart. She touched all who knew or met her. When she laughed, she sparkled and it lifted your spirits.

Condolences & Memories (2 entries)
I am so sorry to hear about your loss! Your Mom was a very special lady who was always warm and welcoming to everyone. Both your Mom and Dad have a special place in my heart. I have so many good memories of them hanging out at the Solars, chatting with us while we played outside and hosting many bridal showers over the years. Growing up on Galinee was special because it was filled with wonderful people like your parents and great kids like you! - Posted by: Heather Milne (Neighbour) on: Aug 10, 2022
