SYLVIA HUSTON

Sylvia Huston passed way peacefully at Rideau Park Personal Care Home on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at the age of 102 years.
Sylvia was born in Dayspring, Nova Scotia and grew up in Halifax. She met her husband Meredith in Halifax during the Second World War and together the two moved to Winnipeg in 1958. Sylvia enjoyed baking, cooking and entertaining family and friends. She was very artistic and enjoyed travelling around the world to Europe, Asia, Africa and Australia to name some.
Sylvia is survived by her two sons, John (Florette) of Brandon and Grant (Cathy) of Calgary; two grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband in 2016 and five sisters.
A celebration of Sylvia's life will be held at Brockie Donovan Chapel, 332 8th Street, Brandon, Manitoba on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at 1:00 p.m.
