On July 24, 2022, Lillian Ella Dill, peacefully passed away with family by her side and was called home to be in the loving arms of her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Lillian was a loyal and loving wife and mother. She had a heart to serve and give of her time to others and had many close friends.
As a young girl she accepted the Lord Jesus as her personal Saviour. She attended and was a member of Immanuel Pentecostal Church up until her marriage to Robert Sr. for almost 66 years. Travel with her husband was a constant joy while experiencing the culture of many countries they visited together. In her early 20's one of the jobs Lillian enjoyed the most was working at the CNR as a key punch operator. She was well-known for her cooking and entertaining of family, relatives and friends. Lillian's table was always ladened with a variety of food dishes, wanting to ensure that everyone had more than enough to eat. She especially loved the family cottage and being by the water. Swimming and golf were her favourite activities and she continued to water ski into her 70's. Lillian was passionate about life and never afraid to try new things and take on challenges. Art painting became a passion later in life.
A couple of her favourite scriptures were: (Acts 2:21) "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved" and Joshua 1:9. These are eternal promises she wanted everyone to know.
She was predeceased by her father Englehard and mother Leokadia Schultz, Sister Eleanor and husband Ben (Dimler) and infant sister Rita Marlene. She is survived by her loving husband Robert Sr. Sons: Kevin, David and Robert Jr., (Tracey) granddaughter Madison and many cousins, nephews and nieces.
