ARMAND LEO COURNOYER

With his family by his side, it is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our Dad, Grandpa, Brother, Uncle and Husband, Armand Leo Cournoyer on July 29, 2022 at the age of 74 years.
Armand was predeceased by his father Joseph; his mother Yvette and his sisters, Nicole and Ginette.
He will forever be missed by his wife Janice. They were to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary next month. He will also be truly missed by his children, Cristen (Brian), Damien (Kristy) and Jamie (Tristen) and his brothers and sisters, Rachel, Rose, Roland and Edouard.
After Janice, the loves of his life were his grandchildren, Brayden, Leah, Brett and Ana. The joy you could see on his face when they were around was heartwarming.
A memorial service and Celebration of Life will be held at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at 2:00 p.m.
Our family would like to express our sincere thank you to the staff at CancerCare Manitoba for all of their years of care, as well as the staff at HSC for their compassion and care in his final days.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to CancerCare Manitoba in his honour.

  • I am so very sorry to read of Armand's passing. We worked together at Centra Gas and then Manitoba Hydro in the Gas Construction Dept. for many years. He was quiet, sometimes gruff, sometimes teasing and always willing to explain gas construction work, but most of all he was a friend. - Posted by: Dale Mitchell (Retired co-worker) on: Aug 06, 2022
