Condolences & Memories (6 entries)

  • Betty and I shared the same interest in the Royal family. Also, at Christmas Betty would write pages about family which she enjoyed sharing for many, many years after we both left Oshawa. Deepest sympathy to the Murray family, David & Beverley Akagi - Posted by: David/Beverley Akagi (Very close friend from Oshawa days) on: Aug 17, 2022

  • Sending deepest sympathies, sorry we could not be at the funeral (due to our own health issues). Many fond memories of chats with Betty. An intelligent, kind, wise soul. Will miss her. - Posted by: Beryl and Norman Littke (family) on: Aug 16, 2022

  • We would like to express our sincere sympathy to the Murray Family and to let you know that we are thinking of you. Although we lived a distance apart we kept in touch through our Christmas cards and I always enjoyed visiting with Betty when we did manage to get together at our family events. Sincerely Marlene Sandor & family (Calgary). - Posted by: Marlene Sandor (Cousin) on: Aug 13, 2022

  • To the Murray Family May your memories of Betty be cherished in your hearts. Please accept our deep condolences for your loss. Sincerely Judi Braid, Kristen Braid, Nikki Farguson and family - Posted by: Judi Braid (Cousin in law) on: Aug 12, 2022

  • I met Betty a few months ago when she would get picked up for a ride on Sunday by my friend Carole Subtelny to attend the 11:00 mass at St. Bernadette Parish. It did not take us long to become friends in those few months, as we had both lost our husbands and chatted about many things to and from church. Betty enjoyed joining some of us after mass for breakfast. Rest In Peace, Betty. My deepest condolences to her family. From Joan Rebeiro - Posted by: Joan Rebeiro (Friend from St. Bernadette Parish) on: Aug 11, 2022

  • Dear Erin/Murray family, Our heartfelt sorrow on the loss of your mother, grandmother and friend. I will always cherish the warmth, generosity and the kindnesses of your mom. As my Godmother, she made sure I was always provided with acknowledgement and love on my birthday with very thoughtful messages/gifts. As a long time friend of my mother's, she again demonstrated welcoming acts of generosity and friendship by opening her parent's home for my mother to stay and building a long, lasting friendship with her. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Much love, Joanne/Murray - Posted by: joanne hamilton (God child) on: Aug 09, 2022
