GEORGE ALBERT THOMPSON

George Albert Thompson, born on February 15, 1937, passed away surrounded by his immediate family on Wednesday, August 10, 2022.
George is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mavis (nee Goodine); daughters, Tracy (David) and Debbie (Dave); granddaughters, Sarah (Jason), Samantha (Adam), and Michelle (Nate); grandsons, Tyler (Nichole) and Raymond (Dylan); great-granddaughters, Faith, Hadley, Piper, Ada, and Adalyn; great-grandson, Brayden; sister Joyce; and his niece Sandra. He also leaves behind numerous family and friends across Canada and the United States. He was predeceased by his son Shane, his father Chester, his mother Emma, his sister and brother-in-law, June and Don, and his niece Maureen.
There will be a graveside service at Elm Creek Cemetery (Manitoba) on Saturday, September 10, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. to bury George and his son's ashes together. Condolences, memories, and photos can also be shared and viewed at www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
