DONALD EDMUND COLLINS
July 12, 1945 - August 13, 2022
Don passed from this life into the arms of Jesus, with his wife by his bedside, at the Concordia Hospital. He was 77 years old.
Don is survived by his wife Lois, married for 52 years; his children, Melanie (Jon), Keith (Tannis), Stephanie (Brent) and Bethany (Dave); as well as 13 grandchildren; two brothers and their wives and many extended family members and friends.
A celebration of Don's life will be held at Calvary Temple in the Buntain Chapel at 440 Hargrave Street, Winnipeg, MB on Monday, August 22, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. (Visit ctwinnipeg.com to view the service by livestream.) Interment will precede the service at 11:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn, 4000 Portage Avenue.
A come and go viewing (also in the Buntain Chapel) will take place on Sunday, August 21, 2022 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a short devotional at 7:15 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to One Hope Canada or Canadian Cancer Society.

My condolences to you and your family at this Difficult Time will remember Don, it doesn’t matter what Don was doing he would stop and talk to you and he would help shovel Snow will keep him in our heart and our minds to keep Don memories Alive. No words can describe how sorry we are for your loss. Can't imagine how this must be impacting your lives. Don was such a gentle, soft spoken man and always ready with a smile. That's how we'll always remember him. Lean on your faith to give you strengh to get through this. Someone once told me these words and I never forgot them "if God takes you to it - He'll get you through it". I hope you'll find comfort in those words too. Our deepest sympathies.
