(nee SCHULZ)
Marga Vieweg passed away after a short illness on August 15, 2022, in Portage la Prairie at the age of 95 years.
Marga was predeceased by her husband Wolfgang in 2010 and is survived by her sons, Steven (Jill), Mark (Christina), Eric (Wendy) and Ralph; daughter Barbara (Thomas) Shumski; grandchildren, Monica (Kris), Lisa (Michael), Richard (Renee), Meghan, Cameron, Jessica (Jay), Benjamin, Samuel (Ali), Cathy, Natasha (Ryan), Erica (Shaun) and Dale; great- grandchildren, Rubee, Ryder, Orrin, Zev and William; former daughter-in-law Elizabeth; and many relatives in Germany, especially Matti Hartung, Rostock, Germany that the family has been in close contact with over the years.
The immediate family will inter Marga at a later date and she will be laid to rest beside Wolfgang at the Transcona Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, if friends so wish, donations may be made in Marga's memory to PAWS (Portage Animal Welfare Society) Box 1426, Portage la Prairie, MB R1N 3N9 or to Primate's World Relief and Development Fund, 80 Hayden Street, Toronto, ON M4Y 3G2
A tree will be planted in memory and cared for by McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel.
