• My sincere condolences to you and your family, Wendy. Lorne left this life so suddenly, it’s still difficult to believe he’s no longer here. “Stumpy” was a regular at Rossmere Golf and Country Club and was well known to most members. We often enjoyed socializing in the pub or at the kiosk at the 10th hole. In between and after our golf, laughing and joking about how badly we played that day. • My brother Rick and I knew Lorne when we were kids on Mark Pearce. I still remember the time I bought some crappy car and wanted my money back. Rick and Lorne came with me because I was quite small then, and “persuaded” the gentleman to return my money. Still laugh about that 50 years later.
