Condolences & Memories (6 entries)

  • Meeting and working with Chuck is one of the highlights of my life. Each day I looked forward to his infectious smile and that very special laugh! Eleven years after he retired, Chuck returned to our office to attend my own retirement. I have no words to describe the honour I felt that he had come that day. I will always hold his memory very close. Sincerely, Vickie Mundle (colleague from the Pupil Transportation Unit) - Posted by: Vickie Mundle (Work colleague) on: Sep 07, 2022

  • I’m so sorry to hear this sad news. Chuck was a gentleman, intelligent and always ready to help out. I’ll remember him fondly. - Posted by: Carole Carlson (Colleague) on: Sep 05, 2022

  • I was privileged to have worked with Chuck for several years when he was the Senior Field Officer for the Pupil Transportation Unit (Manitoba Education). He was a terrific colleague, so knowledgeable in his field, with a big smile and infectious laugh. He was greatly respected in the pupil transportation system across the province. Of the many memories from that time I recall how excited he was about building a cottage, and of seeing pictures of the work he was doing himself, to make it a place for family gatherings and for time with his grandkids. My condolences to his family on the loss of this good and talented man. - Posted by: David Yeo (Former Colleague) on: Sep 05, 2022

  • I’m so sorry to hear of his passing. I worked with him a number of years ago in the provinces pupil transportation unit. He was one of the best “bosses” I’ve ever had. He was so kind to me - in fact one time he went on a trip to the East Coast and he brought me back a beautiful Anne of Green Gable’s doll because he knew I loved that literature. Condolences to the family and friends and rest east, Chuck. - Posted by: Lisa Hunter (Past colleague and friend ) on: Sep 05, 2022
