BEVERLY JEAN CRONE
(nee BELL)
It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Beverly Jean Crone (nee Bell) on August 17, 2022, after a lengthy illness.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Lawrence Crone; children, Cherie Hennessey (Sean) and Pamela Landgraff (Wayne); grandchildren, Caitlyn Hennessey and Ava Landgraff; brother, John Bell (Joyce); and nephews, Tyler Bell and Brodie Bell. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Jean Bell.
Beverly was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She met Lawrence in 1967 and they were married in 1969 and just celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary on June 14, 2022. From a young age she loved to curl and golf. She was on many leagues and made lasting friendships which she treasured. She enjoyed all her girl trips to curling bonspiels and golf tournaments. She enjoyed camping, especially the yearly trips to Rushing River when her children were growing up. In 1999, Beverly and Lawrence bought a trailer and had a spot at the Gimli trailer park where they spent many summers. She loved spending time at the trailer with family and friends. Beverly was an amazing cook and baker. She loved to entertain and hosted many memorable parties and Friday night happy hours. She was an avid Winnipeg Blue Bomber fan and enjoyed watching the Bombers win back-to-back Grey Cup Championships.
Beverly had a beautiful smile and cared deeply about everyone she knew. She was a source of comfort and strength for everyone in her family and will leave a space in our hearts that cannot be filled.
A Celebration of Life for family and friends will take place for Beverly on Friday, September 30, 2022, at Rossmere Golf & Country Club from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. If possible, please RSVP to Cherie at cherielhennessey@gmail.com.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Beverly's name to the Canadian Cancer Society.
