JOHN WILLIAM CRAN
September 26, 1938 - August 23, 2022
It is with great sorrow we announce the sudden passing of John Cran on Tuesday, August 23, 2022, at the Concordia Hospital.
John was predeceased by his parents, Catherine and John Cran.
John is survived and will be lovingly missed by his wife Emily, of 39 years, and her family. John also leaves behind his son John, daughter Jillian, two grandchildren, Dallas and Sara, and brother Murray.
John spent his life working in accounting at the Canadian National Railways which he enjoyed very much. He retired early in his 50s and enjoyed a lot of drives and a few flights to the USA, and he also enjoyed his time at the Assiniboine Downs watching his horses race.
In keeping with John's wishes, a service will not be held.
Miss you John, rest in peace, you deserve it.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to Diabetes Canada in John's memory.

Memories of many happy family events with John as well as the back yard pool! Especially appreciated his expertise in guitar playing. Our thoughts are with you Emily and hope you remember your many adventures together. He was such a good fiend to our Dad over the years. I enjoyed my time with John especially as a young kid when both you and John would take us to see the horse races and visit the horses in the stalls.
