Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

  • Marg and I became friends through our mutual love of Bobcat basketball many years ago. She and Doug were a second family for many student-athletes who were far from home, providing a welcoming living room, supportive listening and advice, and hearty meals out at a favourite local restaurant. They, and later Marg alone, were familiar front-row faces at games and practices. Marg and I met for lunch as often as our schedules allowed, at which I would enjoy her stories about her years in the classroom as well as her experiences as a Bobcat fan. She was a warm and loving person with a quick mind and a huge heart. She will be missed by generations of students and student-athletes and, of course, by a circle of friends. Rest easy, Marg, knowing the love that has surrounded you. - Posted by: Darcy Bower (friend) on: Sep 03, 2022
